2008 Globe Pro Fiji – Day 5

Day 5 of the Globe Pro Fiji is off for the day until more swell can be generated. Sixteen of the top 45 ASP Tour surfers are still in the hunt for capturing the 2008 Globe Pro Fiji title. Dropping swell has forced contest officials to call off today’s round and wait. Rounds 1 -3 have been completed and now the contest has only 9 days left for swell to fill in and to complete the event.
Event officials will make a call this morning and decide if the contest is a go or no go. Remember, Fiji is 19 hours ahead of the West Coast and 22 hours ahead of the East Coast.
